Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio (2018)

Alfa Romeo announces its first SUV, the new Stelvio Quadrifoglio will have to come face to face against the well established range of rivals, we are talking here about the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Volvo XC60.
Without any reservations, the Italian firm packed the Stelvio with a powerful 2.9-liter V6 with double turbos, developing a staggering 510 HP, coupled with a new 8-speed ZF gearbox , thus marking itself one of the most powerful cars of its category in the market.

Alfa Romeo announced that they will be adding new powertrains after the Stelvio's launch, notably a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 280 HP, and a diesel 2.2-liter producing between 136 and 210 HP.
Design-wise, the Stelvio is very similar to the Guilia, Alfa's recent sedan, announced earlier this year.
No launch date has been confirmed yet by Alfa Romeo, we will probably have to wait for more information at the Geneva Motor Show, which will be held next March 2017.

Volkswagen Atlas (2018)

The Atlas, midsize SUV with 7 seats, represents the American dream for the German constructor Volkswagen. This company that was suffering to maintain its reputation in the automotive industry due to the recent Dieselgate affair.
The new SUV is sure to impress with its sheer size, built around the MQB platform and announcing 5.03 m (198.3 inches) in length, 1.97 m in width  and 1.76 m in length, making the Atlas slightly bigger than the Touareg.

Mechanically speaking, the Atlas will come with two powertrains, a 2.0-liter TSI four cylinder gasoline engine, producing 238 horsepower, and a bigger 3.6-liter VR6 with 280 horsepower. The 2.0-liter TSI will come with a choice of 2WD or 4WD, while the VR6 is only available with 4WD.
The Atlas will be built in the Chattanooga assembly plant in Tennessee starting mid 2017, before being introduced to the Middle East and Russia at a later time.
